I'm running for Mayor of Johnson City because our village deserves leadership that listens, includes, and has a plan for securing a fair share for the future. As a proud Ukrainian-American and third generation Johnson City resident, I know the power of community when it’s organized, informed, and supported.

After earning masters degrees in English Language and Literature, Non-profit administration, and Education, I’ve worked an educator at The Children’s Home of Wyoming Conference serving students with Special Education needs through trauma informed practices, Whitney Point High School, and Binghamton High schools, a nonprofit leader as President of the Binghamton branch of the Ukrainian National Women’s League of America - an organization that works to uplift Ukrainian women working to defend freedom here and in Ukraine, and as community advocate for immigrants from all over the world, LGBTQ+ communities, working families, and underserved neighborhoods.

Our future demands more than maintenance—it calls for bold, people-first leadership rooted in transparency, equity, and participation. That’s why I’m running. Not just to hold office—but to revitalize how it works, who it listens to, and what and how it delivers. I’ll turn academic expertise into action and build policies that actually serve the people—not just the powerful.
